Randy A. Platt

Randy Platt is a recognized leader and entrepreneur in the field of Healthcare Services. His career spans both the acute and post-acute fields of care. His passion is seeing that those in need of services and resources get the best care possible from compassionate experts in both clinical and supportive services.


Randy joined Silverado as the Senior Vice President of Operations for Silverado Hospice and Silverado At Home in 2010. Mr. Platt brings to Care Partners At Home over 30 years of healthcare leadership experience and expertise in operations, finance, business development and managed care.


Prior to joining Silverado, he was the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors for Community SeniorServ, Inc., the largest west coast food and nutrition provider serving older Americans through Title III Federal and State Funding.


Mr. Platt has held executive positions for National Healing Corp. as their Senior Vice President of Operations, U.S. Health Works, Inc. as their Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President, and HealthSouth as their Corporate Vice President of Operations.


Randy received his Bachelor of Science degree in healthcare administration from California State University, Long Beach. Mr. Platt began his career at National Medical Enterprises where he was honored as the President’s Fellow and became the Director of the John Douglas French Alzheimer’s Assessment Center.


There, he worked with the clinical research team on improving the lives of those coping with early onset dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. He currently sits on the Legislative Policy Committee for the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), based in Washington, D.C.

Rodney S. Burris

Over the course of the previous 15 years, Rodney Burris has had the opportunity to serve as a leader in Regional, Executive and Board Member roles across a spectrum of Healthcare organizations. These ventures have spanned from large corporate structures to small start-up companies. His intensity, drive and passion to care for others is a derivative from playing the role of patient many times throughout life. These events have inspired Rodney to build high performance teams that desire to broaden their positive impact through creation and innovation.


Most recently, Rodney joined Silverado serving as the Vice President of Operations for Silverado At Home in 2014. Over the previous 2 years, the At Home service line consistently broke every Revenue, EBITDA and census record multiple times since the inception in 2006.


Prior to joining Silverado, Rodney joined the 4 founding partners at Mission Healthcare, Inc. as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operations Officer and member of the Board of Directors. During Rodney’s tenure, Mission enjoyed an expansion from skilled intermittent Home Healthcare to Hospice, Infusion Clinic and non-medical HomeCare while the valuation of the company went from 300,000 dollars to approx. 25 million over the same time span.


Rodney received his Bachelor of Applied Science (BAS) degree in Resource Management with a minor in Business Management from Troy State University in 2005. Although a natural leader, Rodney honed his leadership skills as a member of the United States Army from 2001 to 2009 where he was honorably discharged. Rodney has been married to his amazing wife, Christina Burris since 2001.


They met when Christina was stationed with the United States Marine Corp. in Augusta, Georgia. Together, they have a wonderful eleven-year-old son named Vin. While Christina and Vin serve as the primary inspiration behind Rodney’s drive to positively impact and change the world, the memories ingrained in his character of those who have cared for him, loved him through his most frightening moments serve as his deep-rooted purpose and calling in life.

Yolanda Lawler

Yolanda joins the Care Partners team with more than 20 years of professional management experience. She most recently served as the Executive Director at Silverado Memory Care in Tustin where she led a team of 60 associates at one of Orange County’s most successful assisted living communities.


Yolanda’s calling is to serve others; demonstrated by the speed of trust that occurs through her interaction with clients and their loved ones.
She leads with passion and purpose and thoroughly enjoys investing in and developing her associates. Yolanda received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Gerontology, from California State University Fullerton and completed her Masters of Aging Services Management from the University of Southern California (USC).


She is a vital part of the Care Partners leadership team and is responsible for directing all Orange County operations.

Kathy Ko

Kathy joined the Care Partners team in June, 2017 as our first Life Care Manager. She came to Care Partners having 20 years of healthcare experience as a licensed RCFE Administrator, a Resident Care Coordinator in Assisted Living and as a Case Manager in the Home Care space.


Her diverse background has provided her with the experience, knowledge, and expertise required to serve our clients as an advocate/resource and navigate them through the complexities of the post-acute environment. She plays a vital role in setting our Personal Attendants up for success through the provision of valuable assessments and the incorporation of care plans to guide the care team towards rehabilitation, wellness, and quality of life.


Working with our seniors is a great passion of Kathy’s and she truly feels blessed and privileged to work in this industry. She desires to educate; to be the champion for those who are the frailest of the frail, the vulnerable ones and for those who are struggling to find the quality of life they deserve.
